Our Team

  • Pomme

The Founding Mother of the studio, this LeClerc Model P is named for my French host mom who taught me the basics of pottery and how to relax. Pomme has a 60in weaving width. If you order blankets or wide yardage, Pomme was the foundation!

  • Eini

The sweet and familiar Swedish Glimåkra Eini is named for the very helpful weaving teacher at the folk school in Norway who fixed our problems, approved our drafts, and occasionally dried our tears. I learned how to weave on looms very similar to Eini. She has a 45in weaving width and is my "workhorse". Your towel, yardage, or scarf was likely woven on Eini!

  • Sheila

This vintage Schacht Spindle Company (Colorado) loom was a generous gift from a woman my mother knew due to quilting guild connections. She is named for the proprietor of the fabric store I was taken to as a toddler; my mother quilted and chatted with friends while I was kept quiet with little sample packets of next season's fabrics. Sheila currently handles tests and prototypes.

  • Eddie

A vintage Toyota knitting machine, Eddie produces quick yet still sturdy and beautiful knitwear to give human fingers a break! (Knitwear made on Eddie will be noted as such.)

  • Joe and Joanne

A vintage Ashford Traditional and number 243 of the Oregonian Joe Jorgensen Wheels. Joe and Joanne make the yarns for our quirky Handspun Hats line.

  • M.K.

M.K is the human who runs the team and ensures all of them are oiled, polished, dusted, well aligned, and able to create the best craft work they possibly can.
